Capacity Building Project

This capacity building project for house parents and social workers is between ACTION, DSWD FO 3 and JICA, with assistance from ACTION Inc. This project began through an exchange of knowledge between Japanese specialist on children’s welfare and their local counterparts from the DSWD FO 3. Furthermore, this program is an avenue for Japanese and local experts to work together to provide training and developmental activities for children. This project trains house parents through their social workers on the basics of house parenting as contained in the House Parenting Standards promulgated by DSWD FO 3 to further enhance child care services in Region 3.
