There has been rapid increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines. As a result, President Rodrigo Duterte raised the alert level for the COVID-19 public health event to Code Red Sublevel Two (2). Whereby, areas (Barangays, Cities, Municipalities and Provinces) that gain a minimum number of confirmed COVID-19 cases will be placed on community quarantine. As a preventive measure, to protect its employees and beneficiaries, ACTION, Inc. will be closing its main office in Olongapo City and satellite office in Malabon City starting immediately until March 18, 2020. Unless an extension becomes necessary, ACTION’s offices will resume regular operation by March 19, 2020.
During this period, the ACTION Team will continue to work from their respective homes and will be available to take calls, emails and messages from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
We hope for the fast containment of this disease and recovery of the affected areas.
