Tamang Ride PH and its partners, through ACTION, Inc., conducted the pilot testing of its Road Safety Education Module for teens aged 16-18, highlighting inclusive community participation to gather initial outcome and feedback as part of its continuous development, last May 30, 2026 at Caloocan City.
Held at Manila Central University in partnership with the University’s Community Relations Office, the pilot testing gathered 28 participants from Barangay Maysilo, Malabon, including two designated guardian adults. The participants actively engaged in a series of interactive group activities and learning sessions designed to strengthen their understanding of road safety and responsible road use.
The pilot testing featured multiple sessions facilitated by ACTION, Inc. staff, covering key topics such as Foundations of Road Safety, Life Skills Integration of Road Safety, the Tamang Ride PH Advocacy and Movement, Basic Road Safety Knowledge, Important Road Safety Laws Concerning Children, Roles and Responsibilities of Road Stakeholders, Proper Reporting Channels for Road Safety Violations and Accidents, Road Attitudes and Behavior, and Basic Safe Driving Lessons.
The activity provided valuable insights from young participants, helping refine the learning module and ensure that its content remains relevant, engaging, and responsive to the realities faced by Filipino youth. The pilot testing also served as an important step in creating community-based road safety education and fostering a culture of safety among future road users.
