ACTION brought 2 cultures together in an event full of both meaning and beauty, through the Charity Haircut event held from November 15 to 16, 2016 in Olongapo City. Twenty four (14 Male/ 10 Female) professional Japanese hairstylists from the Woody Chicken Group led by Mr. Yutaka Ito, provided free hair-cuts to over 300 children and mothers in this 2-day event.

The group conducted free haircutting/hair styling to 242 (114 Male, 128 Female) students at Tapinac Elementary School on the 1st day and 107 (61 Male, 46 Female) mothers and their children at the Landfill in New Cabalan on the 2nd day.

Aside from providing their services for free, some of the hairstylists also gave donations to support ACTION’s projects in the Philippines.
