A total of 730 students from Balaybay Resettlement Elementary School (BRES) received food packs on October 2, 2020. The food packs were distributed to the parents/guardians of the students who went to the school to claim the modules of their children. This serves as alternative support to the students as face-to-face feeding activities are halted because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2014, ACTION, Inc. launched a feeding project at BRES, in partnership with Table for Two (TFT). TFT is a non-profit organization that was first established in Japan and later on expanded to other countries. They support projects and activities that aim to reduce malnutrition in the Philippines.
