Representatives from ACTION participated in the Children’s Month Celebration on 19th of November 2015 at the Center for Youth Compound, Sta. Rita, together with the kids and staff from Social Development Center, Center for Youth and Center for Women, some local leaders and other stakeholders.
It’s only the second time that the celebration was focused on the kids in residential facilities. The theme: “Komunidad at Pamahalaan magkaisa, Pang-aabuso sa bata, wakasan na” was observed in the presentations prepared by the kids and staff.
The kids showcased their singing, dancing and drawing talents. Kids with the best performance were given awards courtesy of the generous donors.
