ACTION provides various forms of educational assistance to select children from partner residential care facilities and those from partner communities. These scholars are mostly high school and elementary students who, due to impoverished situations, requires educational support to be able to continue their schooling. Full college scholarship is also provided from time to time to deserving students.
The education support provided by ACTION varies from provision of project fees or financial assistance for various school expenses, transportation allowance for children and staff when traveling to school, honorarium for 2 staffs-in-charge of educational assistance at International Children’s Advocate Inc.- Niňos Pag-asa Center and provision of school materials, uniforms and other supplies.
With the support of another organization in Japan called Growing People’s Will (GPW), 8 (5 male and 3 female) additional scholars from partner communities were also supported starting 2014.
